Our Staff

Dr. Scott A. Rubin, DC
Dr. Scott A. Rubin has been practicing chiropractic care in the St. Petersburg area since 1994. After graduating Cum Laude at Life Chiropractic College, he worked on post graduate studies in Applied Kinesiology and Acupuncture. His dream was to create a method of healthcare delivery that would support total wellness for people.

Dr. Rubin intensified his commitment to his dream in January of 1997, when he began what was The Center for Healing - now the Rubin Health Center, a holistic health care facility designed to create the synergy he'd always dreamed of.

Since then, Dr. Scott has completed certification through Power Pilates out of New York. He is the third chiropractor in the US to complete a Pilates certification. He has achieved a 200 hour yoga certification and holds a black belt in Wado Kai Karate. Currently he is completing a diplomate in nutrition.

Dr. Rubin is the father of two wonderful girls, Raquel and Jessie, and has 2 dogs, Kody and Sally.


Isabelle M. Simon, M.A - Nutrition / Kids Yoga / Fitness Studio Coordinator
Isabelle is originally from France and has been in the USA since 1992. Besides speaking French and English, she also speaks Spanish and can help our patients with limited English proficiency. She holds two Masters Degrees, is a Certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant as well as a Certified Kids Yoga Instructor. Isabelle helps our patients with their various therapies in our fully functional rehabilitation gym as well as provides them with the nutritional education and guidance they need to not only achieve optimal health but maintain it. Isabelle teaches our Lunch n’ Learn Nutrition in Action series as well as the Kids Yoga classes in our fitness studio located on our second floor. See our schedule of classes for more information.


Leesa M. Scott- Front Desk/Billing/Insurance
Leesa has been with the Rubin Health Center since 2004. Her earlier experience includes working at Dillards, managing an apartment complex for 10 years and working for McDonald's for 23 years. She handles our billing and insurance department.
